A Tailored Practice Plan is for golfers who want to play their best golf where it matters most. For golfers that have improved their golf swing but haven’t seen that transfer to better scores. If you’re sick of working hard on your game but seeing little progress then a Tailored Practice Plan is for you
No. My Tailored Practice Plans have been used by 30+ handicaps and DP World Tour Professionals. Whilst I work with many elite amateurs and professionals, my practice plans are for any golfer that wants to lower their scores and is willing to put in the work to do so.
First we’ll discuss your game, your goals and the facilities you have access to. Once I have a clear picture of you as a golfer I will build the first iteration of your Tailored Practice Plan. We will then track progress in practice and on the course and make adjustments as required. Alongside this we will have monthly coaching calls that cover everything you need to make swing changes stick, perform with a card in your pocket and lower your scores. I am on hand for support at all times.
If you are able to commit to the monthly coaching calls and complete 2-3 hours of high quality practice each week I am confident that you can reduce your handicap by 25% within 3-6 months.
My academic background is in Psychology (MSc) and Sport Psychology (MSc). During my study I had a specific focus on skill acquisition, high performance and creating the optimal mindset for sporting success. Alongside coaching golfers all over the world I maintain a scratch handicap and compete regularly. What started as a quest to improve my own game has spiralled in to what thecogcoach has become today. For the last 9 years I have used this background to help professional golfers prepare for the biggest tournaments in the world and to help amateur golfers significantly lower their handicap.
Not at all. Almost everybody I work with has a swing coach also. There will be time each week designated to technical swing work.
